How does Sterimar Manganese Nasal Spray work?
The nasal mucosa is made of 3 layers of cells.
The respiratory tract’s epithelial cells have small extensions, similar to little hairs, called cilia, and it is with their help that the excessive mucus gets cleaned. Composition:
STERIMAR Manganese is a sea water physiological solution, filtered, non-dilluted, without preservatives.
Enriched with marine trace elements and Manganese ssalts especially, STERIMAR Manganese helps prevent allergies and improves their symptoms once they set in.
Physiological solution: solution with a salt concentration similar to that of the human body.
Sea water: 31.82 ml
Manganese monohydrate
Purified water aprox. 100 ml
Dosage and use:
2 to 4 sprays/day in each nostril.
STERIMAR Manganese should only be used for 10-15 days in a row.
It is recommended to use Sterimar Isotonic afterwards.
Prim the spray by briefly pressing the nozzle.
Insert the nozzle into the nostril.
Press the button and let the spray set in for a couple of seconds, let the excess drain and the gently blow your nose.
Repeat the operation for the other nostril.
Clean the nozzle with lukewarm soapy water, rinse and let dry.
Inert propulsing gas: nitrogen. The solution is not in contact with the nitrogen. Pressurized container. Do not pierce or burn even after use.

About the packaging
Each dose of Sterimar spray is aseptic. The non-return valve prohibits any air contamination into the package so the solution stays perfectly aseptic after each use. Thus, Sterimar can be used safely again until the product runs out completely.
The microdiffusion effect is produced by the nozzle which is specially designed for Sterimar. The device is fit for all nostril sizes and blocks itself after use: it can be safely used on the tiny nostrils of babies as well as on the nostrils of an adult. Its diameter is able to adapt to all nostril sizes and prevents any risks when inserting the nozzle into the nostrils of a baby.
NOTA BENE: The nozzle cannot cause injury and cannot be inserted too far into the nostril.
